We are Christian based, concentrating to aid in shaping the child’s character to obey and honour their parents, display respect and neighbourly love, attain kindness and self-control that will bring glory to our Heavenly Father. In the classroom we will work on:
Practical Life
This area focuses on the toddler’s ability to care for him/herself and to become aware of their surrounded environment. The students are introduced to activities that develop concentration, coordination, confidence, independence and order. The emphasis is on process rather than on result.
Sensorial
The sensorial materials helps to develop the students senses while strengthening their fine motor skills.
Math
Tiny Hands students are introduced to early number recognition, writing and simple math.
Language
The students are regularly exposed to build vocabulary through reading, singing and conversation. Our Grade R students are introduced to early phonetic reading and writing.
